Ahead of the release of his new record It Is What It Is, Thundercat has shared a brand new music video for his album track "Dragonball Durag."

The Zack Fox-directed video features appearances from HAIM, Kali Uchis and comedian Quinta Brunson. The video sees the artist born Stephen Bruner donning the supernatural durag and going full Super Saiyan to hit on all the ladies.

"The durag is a superpower, to turn your swag on… it does something, it changes you," explained Bruner in a statement. "If you have one in the wardrobe, think about wearing it tonight, and it may pop off because you never know what's going to happen."

"Dragonball Durag" follows the release of "Black Quails," a track featuring Childish GambinoSteve Lacy and Steve Arrington.

The Flying Lotus-produced It Is What It Is arrives April 3 via Brainfeeder. Thundercat's most recent album was 2017's Drunk.
