Published Jan 19, 2015Consisting of Andy Smith and DIANA's leading lady Carmen Elle, garage-pop duo Army Girls have been building a local following in their home base of Toronto over the last few years. And while they haven't formally released much since 2011's Close to the Bone EP, the two-piece have now unveiled a new track called "End of Days."
The tune was recorded back in 2012 at 6 Nassau in Toronto's Kensington Market, but was just recently released as part of a Long Winter single series. The track is available now as a split 7-inch, with the Lonely Parade on the flipside.
"End of Days" is a lo-fi pop-rocker, anchored by a bassline from Ben Harney, and buoyed by Elle's sweet vocals. Give it a listen below.
